Pazo de Oca's garden presents a wide variety of species.

It is about 20 minutes from Santiago de Compostela driving to Ourense. It is in the province of Pontevedra in the council of A Estrada, in the very heart of Galicia.
Although it is private, it is possible to visit its highly recommended gardens, ponds, paths, etc.
The Lord Don Suero de Oca started its construction in the XVII century, and it went on during the next century. The Pazo de Oca is compounded by the main building, the chapel and the accommodation for the servants. As a whole it has been awarded as historic and artistic monument. It is placed in close relation with the main square. The Pazo sets square with this main square and the chapel presides over the whole group. The present building is compounded by an old part with two square wings and one tower topped in a military square plant merlon. The stone, the main stair, the gallery and the stair of the main entrance will be built with the construction of the south wing in the XIX century.
