The Abades group, with the romanesque church of Nosa Señora dos Desamparados, the rectory, one 'cruceiro' and the santuary from the XVIII century, is close to the old train station of Bandeira in Silleda, Pontevedra, Galicia.

Melchor Ricoi built a magnificent temple to honor the already well-known Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados, Our Lady of the Unprotected, whom a santury was already built. The temple can be proud of having the highest tower of the shire. Just in front it is the original church of romanesque style, austere and simple, and which houses inside interesting paintings as well as, along the left outer side, a unique collection of zoomorphologic elements. Some meters upwards a 'cruceiro' dominates the historic-architectural set. It is just nearby a spring which is supposed to have miraculous qualities.
